Hotel Michaelis opened in June 1997. Soon it became popular with weekend tourists and business travellers.
Since the ‘media city leipzig’ was opened in 2000, we have been catering partner not only for the media companies there but also for many events – covering a wide range from smaller meetings to big TV shows.
Since February 2002 we have been operator and exclusive caterer for one of the most spectacular event locations in Leipzig, “Da Capo” vintage car museum and event hall in the district of Plagwitz. Special highlights were, amongst others, FIFA and DFB events during the World Cup in 2006.
In 2007, the media campus Villa Ida in the Leipzig district of Gohlis opened its gates as a modern event location. We are running the “Campus Restaurant and Bistro” on the premises and are catering partner for all events.
Since the beginning of the 2007/08 season, we have also been responsible for the catering in the world famous Gewandhaus Concert Hall in Leipzig. Here, we are not only working at concerts but also at many special events.
During the years of history of our business, we have been constantly growing and expanding our repertoire of hotel, catering, and event offers. Today, we are well-established in Leipzig’s dining and catering landscape.
