The Alte Essig Manufactur in Leipzig can accommodate different numbers of people depending on the seating arrangement:
banquet / sit-down dinner: up to 96 people
standing reception: up to 100 people
seminar: up to 60 people
conference: approximately 10–80 people, depending on the room and seating arrangement
The venue has two rooms (up to around 100 m²) and is therefore suitable for both smaller celebrations and larger events.

The Alte Essig Manufactur offers a comprehensive catering and hospitality service for events. The catering is organised by the adjacent Hotel Michaelis and includes bespoke food and drink options. Refreshments during breaks can also be provided. This ensures seamless catering support throughout the event.

The Alte Essig Manufactur is equipped with modern technical facilities for events. These include, amongst other things, a projector and screen, Wi-Fi, a sound system with a microphone, and flipcharts. This means the venue is well-equipped for presentations, seminars and conferences.

For guests attending events at the Alte Essig Manufactur, our Hotel Michaelis is particularly well-suited, as it is situated right next to the venue. The two buildings are connected by a covered walkway, allowing guests to move between the hotel and the venue comfortably and without having to travel any extra distance. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and its own restaurant.

Yes. The Alte Essig Manufactur has a garden and a terrace which can be used for events and, in particular, for breaks or conversations outdoors. The outdoor area offers a pleasant opportunity to move parts of the event outside when the weather is fine.

Limited parking is available for event guests at the Hotel Michaelis and on Paul-Gruner-Straße. For larger events, we recommend travelling by public transport.

The Alte Essig Manufactur at 44 Paul-Gruner-Straße in Leipzig is very easily accessible by public transport. The nearest tram stop, Hohe Straße, is about 400 metres from the venue and can be reached on foot in a few minutes.
