Da Capo is a renovated factory building dating back to 1895 that once served as a gray iron foundry for the agricultural machinery manufacturer Rudolph Sack KG. Among other things, parts for seed drills and plows were cast here. Rudolph Sack KG was one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Since 2002, the Da Capo has served as an event venue—comprising an event hall and a classic car museum—and is one of the most exciting event locations in our city.

Da Capo is ideal for corporate events, conventions, roadshows, conferences, galas, concerts, exhibitions, and business events, as well as for private parties.

Depending on the event format, the Da Capo Classic Car Museum & Event Hall can accommodate up to 450 people in a seated or banquet-style arrangement and up to 500 guests at a standing reception.

Our venues are rented exclusively as a complete package. We do not offer venue rental alone, as every event benefits from our all-inclusive service: exquisite food, complementary beverages, and a professional service team are, of course, all part of the package. 

Yes, event technology such as lighting, sound, and presentation equipment can be provided.

An on-site visit is well worth it to get a feel for the space, walkways, delivery options, possible setup configurations, and the atmosphere of the venue. This is especially helpful for further planning when organizing larger, unusual, or technically demanding events.

Yes, the venue is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Smoking is permitted in the outdoor area, which is clearly marked.

Parking is available on the main street (Karl-Heine-Straße) as well as on the side streets Gießerstraße and Weißenfelser Straße.

Yes, Da Capo is well connected to the public transportation network.
Tram: Line 14 towards Plagwitz; get off at the Karl-Heine-Straße/Gießerstraße stop, followed by a walk of approximately 50 meters.
Bus: Line 60 (e.g. from Südvorstadt), get off at «Bahnhof Plagwitz,” followed by a walk of approximately 250 meters.
S-Bahn and regional trains: Get off at «Bahnhof Plagwitz,” approximately 300 meters from Da Capo.

We, Michaelis, are the caterer for Da Capo and are delighted to provide you with our catering services.

Our buffet concepts already include many vegetarian options. Upon request, we can also provide entirely vegetarian or vegan buffets. We take allergies and intolerances into careful consideration by prior arrangement. At the food stations, all additives and allergens are clearly and comprehensively labeled.

The vintage car museum is exclusively available for booked events. For individual visitors, it opens on selected Sundays for our Sunday brunch.
